Bring a little bit of the Welsh countryside into the kitchen with this Wales vintage map cutting board, featuring a beautifully detailed antique map of Wales in warm golden tones against the soft blue of the Irish Sea.
The map stretches from Anglesey and Holyhead in the north down to Cardiff, Swansea and the Bristol Channel in the south, with Snowdon, the Cambrian Mountains, Cardigan Bay, Aberystwyth, Carmarthen, Pembroke, Merthyr Tydfil, Wrexham and Welshpool along the way. Old spellings like Carnarvon and Dolgelly, hand-shaded mountains and red rail lines give it a storybook, old-atlas feel. Along the eastern edge you'll also spot Chester, Liverpool, Shrewsbury and Hereford across the border.
Perfect for food prep, serving appetizers or displaying on the counter, this board makes a thoughtful Welsh heritage gift, Wales travel keepsake, study abroad memento or housewarming gift for anyone with roots in Wales.

Each board is pressed by hand in our studio, so the map can sit a little differently than it does in the photos. Towns right along the edges or corners may get trimmed. Have one special little town in mind? Send us a note before you order and we'll check where it lands on the board. Want your town front and center? Our custom board is built around it.
