We select the best vintage map from our archive.

What to Expect from a Vintage Map

Every towel features a genuine vintage map, printed as the mapmakers drew it. That means a few things worth knowing before you order:

You'll see your town plus roughly 20 miles around it, so the coastline, neighboring towns, lakes, and rivers all show up. It's a regional view, not a zoomed-in street map.
Streets, neighborhoods, and individual addresses aren't shown. You'll find your town, not your street.
Coverage depends on what the original map included. Some towns sit at the edge of an old map, and some lakes or landmarks weren't drawn the way they'd be today.
Small towns near a big city will appear alongside that city.
Map styles, colors, and placement vary with the original source. That's part of the charm.
